Applying for Grants

Eligibility:
Review the section on Eligibility and Types of Grants to determine that your organization meets our qualifying requirements.

Fit with Foundation’s Program Areas:
Review the section on Program Areas to ensure that your organization and programming aligns with the Foundation’s funding areas and strategies.

Letter of Interest (LOI):
We no longer require the submission of an LOI prior to submitting a grant application.

Grant Applications:
Please contact our Program Assistant either by email at Program-Assistant @yhsodafoundation.org or by phone at (925) 631-1133. The Program Assistant will connect you with the appropriate Program Officer who in turn will give you guidance as to the type of grant, timing and amount to apply for. The Program Officer will make sure you are provided with the appropriate grant application.
